Gunstocks for the Savage 16 Trophy Hunter XP
Boyds just added the Savage 16 Trophy Hunter XP to its list of stock upgrades that it manufactures.
The Savage 16 Trophy Hunter XP is a complete package rifle – meaning, it has everything you need to head out and start shooting. It comes with a Nikon 3x9x40 scope that has a BDC reticle to help you with those really long shots. It has a stainless steel barrel, a 4-round detachable box magazine, and the Savage AccuTrigger. It uses a tang safety, and it comes with a jeweled bolt. A quick search on Facebook quickly told me that fans consider this gun to be an accurate shooter. But, several mention how ugly its plastic stock is. Not to worry, though, because Boyds has that stock problem remedied.
Boyds now makes hardwood laminate gunstocks for the Savage 16 Trophy Hunter XP in several different stock shapes: Classic and Prairie Hunter. You have your choice of colors, too: Nutmeg Laminate, Pepper Laminate, or Forest Camo Laminate.
Adding additional custom options will make this rifle look like a million bucks; Custom length of pull, custom tips, grips, and butt pads. Then add white spacers, and custom-designed laser engraving, and you’ll have a tack-driving rifle you’ll want to show off to your friends!
Boyds stocks are “built-to-order” and are delivered within 7-10 business days.
