This inlet is for the Savage Lightweight Hunter, which is part of the Model 16 Trophy series that utilize the Axis style detachable box magazine and has NO metal frame around the magazine well. The lightweight hunter features lightening cuts in the receiver and a helical fluted bolt, along with a thin profile barrel.

ATTENTION CUSTOMERS: YOU WILL NEED the Trigger Guard with Bolt Release Assembly, Action Screws, and Rear Trigger Guard Screw. We will provide the Swivel Studs, Front Magazine Tab, and Rear Magazine Tab.

All finished parts have been CNC inlet to Boyds' House Action. Variations may exist from firearm to firearm, minor fitting may be required to get that perfect fit to your firearm.

Natural cosmetic imperfections such as minor knots, burls, heartwood, mineral lines or minor cosmetic fill work are not considered a defect.
